Pia Anishka Shivdasani, M.D., is a board-certified general pediatrician. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College and her Master's in Biology from Georgia State University before achieving her Doctorate in Medicine from Georgia Regents University. Dr. Shivdasani completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Augusta University, Children's Hospital of Georgia, where she developed a deep expertise in child health and patient care.
With a strong commitment to medical excellence, Dr. Shivdasani has contributed to several research projects. Her dedication to the field extends to educating future physicians as an assistant professor of pediatrics at Augusta University. Her clinical interest areas include care of newborns, developmental milestones, and immunizations, to name a few. Dr. Shivdasani is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the South Carolina Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Shivdasani enjoys cooking, playing with her dogs, and time by the water. She participates in community health outreach programs, reflecting her commitment to improving public health.
