Tampa General Hospital Transplant Institute at Ft. Myers

Trisha Blake-Popham, PA-C, earned her Master of Medical Science from Yale University School of Medicine's Physician Associate Program. Prior to joining Tampa General Medical Group, she worked with Hartford HealthCare as a physician assistant for Hartford Hospital's transplant surgery and trauma surgery departments. Blake-Popham began her pursuit of a career in health care at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI, where she received a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences and played varsity lacrosse. While attending Yale University School of Medicine, she completed elective clinical rotations in solid organ transplant surgery, transplant nephrology, orthopedic surgery and trauma surgery. Blake-Popham's research background includes numerous presentations for The Transplantation Society and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. In 2020, she was the recipient of a ASTS Advanced Practice Provider Research Grant.
