Patrick Thomas Murray, MD

About
Dr. Murray graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelors degree in Biochemistry. He obtained his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine and Family Medicine Residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at USF Morsani College of Medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Sports Medicine. Dr. Murray serves as Team Physician for the Department of Athletics at the University of South Florida and cares for concussion patients at the USF Concussion Center. He also enjoys working as a primary care physician within USF Family Medicine department, seeing athletes ranging from young rookies to seniors with silver sneakers.

Dr. Martinez is involved in resident and medical student education. She is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) as well as the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Dr. Martinez has presented and contributed to book chapters and publications related to robotic surgical techniques, as well as pre- and postcolorectal surgery indications and complications. She has participated in multiple international medical missions over the past 10 years and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Among the many awards she has received, she is a proud recipient of the National Hispanic Medical Association Outstanding Resident of the Year, Administrative Chief Resident in General Surgery, and Zukowski Humanitarianism Award in General Surgery awards.
