About

Dr. Carina Rodriguez, a native of Argentina, is a Professor of Pediatrics and Division Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of South Florida. As Medical Director for HIV/AIDS Services for Children and Youth, and Division Chief, Dr. Rodriguez oversees multiple grants and contracts, and supervises a multidisciplinary team. In addition, she serves as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for NIH sponsored grants (Collaborative Antiviral Study Group, Adolescent Trials Network), industry-sponsored HIV and ID related clinical trials and other multiple grants. As a teacher, she participates in medical, and resident education. In addition, she serves in multiple committees including the Committee of Pediatrics AIDS at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her research interests include HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis, vaccines and congenital infections

Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of South Florida. Dr. Espinosa completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Kansas and her fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan. Dr. Espinosa is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease. Her research interests include perinatal and congenital infections, hepatitis, and vaccines.
