K. Dean J. Arnaoutakis, MD, MBA is an Associate Professor of Surgery joining the USF Health Division of Vascular Surgery in January 2021. He was also appointed as Vice Chair of Clinical Research for the USF Department of Surgery as well as the Associate Director of the Aortic Center at Tampa General Hospital. Previously, Dr. Arnaoutakis served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Associate Director of the Aortic Disease Center at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Dr. Arnaoutakis maintains a broad vascular surgery practice with a clinical focus in the endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms and dissections using fenestrated/branched endografts. He is the PI for several clinical device trials for the treatment of aortic arch and thoracoabdominal aortic pathology. His research interests relate to improving outcomes after complex endovascular procedures, namely stent-graft patency, spinal cord ischemia, renal failure, and predictive modeling of survival. In addition, he is studying the interaction between the intestinal microbiome in those with chronic mesenteric ischemia.

Dr. Arnaoutakis is originally from the Tampa Bay area. He earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York City and his medical and business administration degrees from Cornell University. He completed his general surgery residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Subsequently, he completed fellowships in vascular surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard University in Boston and complex endovascular aortic surgery at Hôpital Cardiologique in Lille, France.

Dr. Carina Rodriguez, a native of Argentina, is a Professor of Pediatrics and Division Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of South Florida. As Medical Director for HIV/AIDS Services for Children and Youth, and Division Chief, Dr. Rodriguez oversees multiple grants and contracts, and supervises a multidisciplinary team. In addition, she serves as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for NIH sponsored grants (Collaborative Antiviral Study Group, Adolescent Trials Network), industry-sponsored HIV and ID related clinical trials and other multiple grants. As a teacher, she participates in medical, and resident education. In addition, she serves in multiple committees including the Committee of Pediatrics AIDS at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her research interests include HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis, vaccines and congenital infections

Dr. Suh is a Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiologist, who has been providing cardiac care for the Tampa Bay region for more than 25 years. She graduated from Smith College with High Honors in Biochemistry. She attended Duke School of Medicine and underwent her Pediatrics Internship and Residency training at New York University Medical Center. She was awarded by the American Heart Association to undergo Cardiac Immunology Research Fellowship at Rockefeller University prior to completing her clinical Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She received an additional Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology at CHOP.  Following her fellowship trainings, she remained as a Pediatric Cardiology Attending and as a faculty member at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia /University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine before moving to Tampa. She started the new Pediatric Cardiac Program in Tampa and served this Tampa Bay community as a Pediatric Cardiologist subspecializing in Interventional Cardiology at both St. Joseph Hospital and Johns Hopkins-All Children’s Hospital. She has performed thousands of cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions during her career, whose ages range from fetus to elderly patients with congenital heart defects. She is also known as the “Surgeon’s Cardiologist” and has a close working relationship with Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons. As a firm believer in continuity of care, some of her patients now expand 2 generations. She has been cited as the Best Pediatric Cardiologist by Tampa Bay magazines for many years as well as Cambridge’s Who’s Who. She has always maintained her passion as a Pediatric Cardiologist and her duty for service as a clinician.  She has now joined the USF Department of Pediatrics to create a new Division of Pediatric Cardiology. She is fully committed to educate, train, and mentor the new generation of physicians, while continuing to serve the greater Tampa Bay community as a pediatric cardiologist.
