USF Infectious Disease

I'm currently working as an Assistant Professor in the University of South Florida Physician Assistant Program. On Fridays, I continue to provide care to patients that require same day (acute care) appointments for USF Family Medicine.

Dr. Murray graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelors degree in Biochemistry. He obtained his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine and Family Medicine Residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at USF Morsani College of Medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Sports Medicine. Dr. Murray serves as Team Physician for the Department of Athletics at the University of South Florida and cares for concussion patients at the USF Concussion Center. He also enjoys working as a primary care physician within USF Family Medicine department, seeing athletes ranging from young rookies to seniors with silver sneakers.

Having grown up in Tampa, I am deeply committed to serving our community with expertise and compassion. Inspired by my faith and family, I approach each patient interaction with care. We are privileged to care for our patients; thus my interactions should reflect this honor. Our learners will emulate the care we teach, so our methods will be amplified.

Dr. Camille Thelin, M.D., M.S., joined the University of South Florida Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition as an assistant professor June 2019, board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Her interests include all aspects of general gastroenterology, with emphasis on lower GI motility disorders, functional GI disorders and women's GI issues.

A native of France that previously called New Orleans home, Dr. Thelin is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans. She went on to complete her fellowship in Gastroenterology at Tulane University. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Hispanic Studies from Boston College, a Cellular and Molecular Master's in Science from Tulane University, and a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification.

Dr. Thelin is now the Director of the USF Women's Digestive Diseases Health Program, with a USF Women's GI Clinic at the USF Pamela Muma's Women's Health Center. Most recently, she was made the Program Director of the USF GI Fellowship Program, in June 2021.

I have been trained in general orthopedics and am also fellowship trained in sports medicine. I am Board Certified in orthopedics. I take care of patients ranging in age from 3 - 90. I am able to accommodate any and all patients, and if I am not able to treat your condition, I will personally make sure we get you to the correct person to manage your injury or illness.

Dr. Matthew L. Anderson specializes in the surgical and medical management of pre-malignant and malignant diseases of the female reproductive tract. He utilizes state-of-the-art approaches, including both minimally invasive and robotic surgery, to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes in a friendly, patient-oriented environment. Dr. Anderson leverages his unique expertise as a nationally recognized translational cancer researcher to help his patients gain a better understanding of their disease and personalize the therapeutic approach. His experience with genetics is particularly helpful for patients seeking options for managing an inherited predisposition to ovarian and/or uterine cancer. In addition, Dr. Anderson's many years of experience as a surgeon allow him to effectively address complex gynecologic issues, such as large pelvic masses, fistulas and difficult cases of endometriosis and uterine leiomyomas.
