About

Dr. Meyer is a board-certified general and thoracic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive robotic techniques for the treatment of intrathoracic disease. He received his bachelor's degree in biology and graduated valedictorian from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Dr. Meyer continued to medical school at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He completed his general surgery residency at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Meyer treats multiple complex conditions, including benign and malignant lung, esophagus, mediastinum, chest wall, and diaphragm diseases. Dr. Meyer has presented at national and international conferences and is an author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He is a co-editor of the textbook of Robotic Surgery, which was published in 2021. Dr. Meyer is chief of staff at Wellington Regional Medical Center and helped initiate a lung cancer screening program there. He is a strong asset to the community, lecturing on the importance of smoking cessation and early detection of lung cancer.

Dr. Eby is board-certified in both general and thoracic surgery. He completed medical school at the New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and completed his general surgery training at the University of Miami. Dr. Eby was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and finished his fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL, which is nationally known for its high volume and minimally invasive approaches to thoracic pathophysiology. Dr. Eby specializes in all general surgical issues, as well as treats multiple complex thoracic conditions, including benign and malignant lung, esophagus, mediastinum, chest wall, and diaphragmatic diseases via advanced thoracoscopic and robotic approaches. In addition to publishing and presenting numerous journal articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed publications and at medical conferences, Dr. Eby is a current member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
