Robert S. Scoma, MD, is a board-certified thoracic surgical oncologist and is also certified in basic, advanced cardiac, and advanced trauma life support. Dr. Scoma has previously served as affiliate assistant professor of surgery and clinical instructor for the JFK Medical Center Campus at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, division chief of Thoracic Surgery and chief of staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center, and division chief of Thoracic Surgery at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Dr. Scoma is an associate fellow with the American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, the Florida Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas in 1986, and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania, Jefferson University, and Rutgers University.

Dr. Meyer is a board-certified general and thoracic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive robotic techniques for the treatment of intrathoracic disease. He received his bachelor's degree in biology and graduated valedictorian from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Dr. Meyer continued to medical school at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He completed his general surgery residency at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Meyer treats multiple complex conditions, including benign and malignant lung, esophagus, mediastinum, chest wall, and diaphragm diseases. Dr. Meyer has presented at national and international conferences and is an author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He is a co-editor of the textbook of Robotic Surgery, which was published in 2021. Dr. Meyer is chief of staff at Wellington Regional Medical Center and helped initiate a lung cancer screening program there. He is a strong asset to the community, lecturing on the importance of smoking cessation and early detection of lung cancer.
