Liyun Liu, MD

About
Dr. Liyun Liu earned her medical degree from Shanxi Medical University, Taiyuan, China. She also graduated from The University of Georgia with a Ph.D. in toxicology. After a few years of research, she went on to do her internal medicine residency at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is board eligible and currently a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Jose Gabriel Rossello, MD

Dr. Rossello earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, and then completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston,Texas and residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians in 1999, Dr. Rossello was in private practice with a multispecialty group in Lakeland, Florida. His hobbies include travel, music, and sports. He has a special interest in tennis and baseball. Dr. Rossello, his wife and children are pleased to make Fayette County their home. Dr. Rossello is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians for Internal Medicine. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Jonathan Lowman, M.D., earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree at Emory University Medical School. He completed his internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Lowman is board certified in internal medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Lowman practiced in the metro Atlanta area for over 25 years. He was also an emergency room physician in the hospital setting. Dr. Lowman's special interests include diabetes care and the expansion of electronic health record utility in patient care In his spare time, Dr. Lowman enjoys ASPCA activity and reading extensively in the fields of history and science. He also restores classic cars and has been involved in motor sports including racing in the 24 Hours of Daytona and the Petit Lemans in Atlanta.

Dr. Bernadin earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Gwinnett Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences from Florida State University and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Bernadin has a special interest in chronic disease management and women's health. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Fayette South Dr. Bernadin was with the Strickland Family Medicine Center.
In her spare time, Dr. Bernadin enjoys writing poetry, working with the youth and giving back to the community. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband. Dr. Bernadin is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
