Timothy Paul Villegas, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology
About
Timothy Villegas, M.D., FACOG is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his Doctorate at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Villegas completed his residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium and is credentialed in minimally-invasive and robot-assisted surgical techniques. He provides full-service prenatal care to include high-risk conditions, and also treats infertility, urinary incontinence and all routine gynecologic conditions. He currently has academic appointments at Mercer University School of Medicine and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Leia Mills, NP-C is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with three years of experience in Women’s Health and as a Registered Nurse with twenty years of nursing experience. Leia earned her B.S. in Nursing from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA and later her M.S. in Nursing/ Family Nurse Practitioner from Troy University in Phenix City, AL.
Leia has extensive clinical experience as a skilled Perinatal nurse, charge nurse, PACU nurse, and served as an OR circulator. Her patient centered care extends to Obstetrical care, annual exams and pap tests, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon insertions and removals, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, and I&D. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Karen Stuart, M.D., FACOG is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been practicing since 1987. She completed her doctorate at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and her residency at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Stuart is an instructor of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Piedmont Columbus Regional and serves the Chair of Robotics Surgery Committee at Piedmont Columbus Regional’s Midtown Campus.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Rhaney is known for her compassionate, innovative approach to pelvic health, urinary incontinence, and menopausal care. A proud Augusta, Georgia native, Dr. Rhaney graduated with honors from Spelman College and with high honors from Meharry Medical College, earning induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society which is bestowed upon the top 6% of physicians nationwide. She completed her residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA and her fellowship at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She is an award-winning and published researcher and has received numerous accolades, including Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award (awarded to the top 7% of physicians nationwide based on peer nominations for excellence in patient care and clinical expertise), the U.S. News & World Report Patient’s Top Choice Award, and a Center of Excellence designation for her outstanding clinical outcomes.
