Dr. Cody Hightower provides orthopedic care to patients in our Douglasville location. He is a candidate member of both the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. His practice includes general orthopedics with a focus and specialty fellowship training in surgery of the hand, elbow, and shoulder. His specific areas of surgical interest are listed below.

Dr. Hightower is a Georgia native who graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in biology and then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina. He then completed an extra year of subspecialty fellowship training at the University of Alabama Birmingham where he worked at the Andrews Sports Medicine Institute.

Matthew B. Jaffe, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His specialties include sports medicine, knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy, fracture care, general orthopaedics, and total joint replacement surgery. Dr. Jaffe is fellowship trained in sports medicine.

Dr. Jaffe is very active in his community and has served as Team Physician for many local area high schools and sporting events for the past several years. During his orthopaedic fellowship, Dr. Jaffe served as Assistant Team Physician to the Baltimore Ravens NFL football team as well as the University of Maryland Terrapins. He has experience caring for athletes at both the professional and recreational levels. In addition, his affiliation with the Shock Trauma Center has provided him with extensive experience in treating the patient with multiple ligament injuries as a result of high-energy orthopaedic trauma.

Mark S. Duffield, D.O. is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His specialties include hip, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, sports medicine, minimally invasive joint replacement surgery and fracture care. Dr. Duffield is fellowship trained in AO Trauma and Sports Medicine.
