Dr. Chahin is a board-certified medical oncologist who completed fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Emory University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lutheran Medical Center and earned his medical degree from Tishreen University. Prior to graduation, he completed clinical rotations in England, further broadening his medical training and experience. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Chahin has dedicated his career to the treatment of a wide range of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in developing community-based cancer centers and has served as a Medical Director, helping expand access to high-quality cancer care. He has also been recognized for initiating and participating in community-based clinical trial programs, bringing innovative treatment options closer to patients. Joining Medical University of South Carolina was a natural progression for Dr. Chahin. He values MUSC's collaborative, multidisciplinary approach and its strong commitment to clinical research, which allows patients to receive advanced, evidence-based cancer care within their local community. Dr. Chahin believes that cancer is not a single disease but a complex group of conditions, each with a unique genetic profile influenced by an individual's background and biology. He is committed to a personalized approach to care, emphasizing patient-centered treatment plans and shared decision-making to achieve the best possible outcomes. A resident of Beaufort for more than 30 years, Dr. Chahin is married and the proud father of six children and grandfather of two grandchildren. Outside of medicine, he enjoys boating in the Lowcountry and traveling the world with his family.

Manisha Nanda, D.O., is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care. With over 20 years experience, she joins MUSC with a strong background in clinical practice and a focus on building meaningful relationships with her patients, known for her attentive approach, clear communication, and commitment to improving health outcomes. She brings a collaborative mindset to her work, partnering closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for every patient. Dr. Nanda stays current with advancements in her field and is passionate about applying evidence-based practices to provide the most effective care possible. She received her medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her fellowship training at Kettering Health Dayton. She is a fellow with the American College of Osteopathic Internists and served as the hematology chair for the American Osteopathic Board of Internists. In addition, she remains a member with the American Osteopathic Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
