Dr. Keith Player, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with over 20 years of experience managing all aspects of General Surgery. Born and raised in Florence, SC, he received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University. He then returned to South Carolina, received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed his General Surgery residency in Spartanburg, SC. Dr. Player proudly returned to his hometown in 1999, where he has provided General Surgery care for the people of the Pee Dee since then. Dr. Player is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is experienced in all aspects of general surgery, including both laparoscopic and open surgery. Dr. Player particularly enjoys laparoscopic abdominal surgery with an emphasis on laparoscopic colon surgery. Dr. Player has developed broad-ranging skills that include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, breast surgery, skin cancer and melanoma surgery, surgery of the intestinal tract for both cancerous and noncancerous disease, and all varieties of hernia repair. He has gained a reputation as a primary provider of pediatric surgery in the Pee Dee area. Dr. Player has been active in hospital leadership activities, including being the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at a regional tertiary care center. A lifelong resident of South Carolina who has lived most of his life in the Florence area, he is honored to provide the highest quality surgical care for the residents of northeastern South Carolina.

Dr. Jonathan Millard is an esteemed Emergency Medicine Physician currently serving at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, where he brings over two decades of experience in the field. With a career spanning various prestigious institutions and leadership roles, Dr. Millard has established himself as a trusted expert in emergency medicine. Dr. Millard's journey in emergency medicine began with his residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia, where he honed his skills and knowledge from July 2000 to June 2003. Following his residency, he embarked on a career path of excellence and dedication to patient care. Prior to his current position, Dr. Millard held significant roles at US Acute Care Solutions, LLC, Emergency Medicine Physicians EMP Mecklenburg, LLC, and Piedmont Emergency Medicine Associates, P.A., showcasing his versatility and commitment to the field. His administrative experience is extensive, having served as a Medical Director, Chest Pain Center Medical Director, and Assistant Medical Director at various health care facilities. Dr. Millard is a lifelong learner and has continually pursued educational opportunities to enhance his expertise. He participated in the Emergency Medicine Physicians Scholars Program and completed the Emergency Department Directors Academy Phase I. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
