Dr. Abirami Sivapiragasam (Abi Siva) is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a board-certified medical oncologist at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, with more than a decade of clinical and academic experience. She specializes in the care of patients with breast cancer and serves as the Director of Medical Oncology. In this role, she focuses on strengthening clinical programs, expanding access to innovative therapies, and building collaborative models of care that improve outcomes across South Carolina and beyond. Dr. Sivapiragasam is equally committed to education and mentorship. As Program Director of the Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program, she is dedicated to training the next generation of oncologists. She has developed structured mentorship and research initiatives designed to support fellows in building strong clinical skills, pursuing meaningful scholarship, and growing into thoughtful, patient-centered leaders in oncology. A passionate clinician-scientist, Dr. Sivapiragasam serves as principal investigator on multiple clinical trials and leads the Breast Cancer Clinical Research Group at MUSC. Her research focuses on designing pragmatic clinical trials that can be seamlessly integrated into everyday practice. She is particularly interested in right-sizing therapy through de-escalation strategies that reduce toxicity while maintaining efficacy, as well as biomarker-driven approaches that personalize treatment decisions. She collaborates closely with translational scientists to advance innovative therapeutic concepts from bench to bedside, with the goal of accelerating access to cutting-edge treatments for patients. Through her clinical leadership, research efforts, and dedication to education, Dr. Sivapiragasam remains deeply committed to improving breast cancer care and advancing the field of oncology.

Benjamin Djulbegovic is a Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, where he serves as a section Chief of Benign Hematology and Director of the Hematology Stewardship Program. His primary academic and research interest lies in attempts to measure and optimize clinical research and practice of medicine by understanding the nature of medical evidence and decision-making. To this effect, his work aims to close the translational research circle by integrating methods and techniques across evidence-based medicine (EBM), predictive analytics, health outcome research, and decision sciences with the goals of reducing overuse, underuse, and misuse of delivery of health services to improve patients' health outcomes. Dr. Djulbegovic has systematically applied the science of EBM and decision analysis to the entire fields of hematology and oncology that, resulted in two books; the book on "Reasoning and decision-making in hematology" was listed as one of the best books by J Natl Cancer Inst and the book "Decision Making in Oncology. Evidence-based management" was assessed as "one of the first and best attempts to apply an evidence-based approach to the practice of medical oncology." As of April 2022, he has published over 400 papers in peer-review journals, 196 abstracts, and numerous book chapters. He also received numerous awards for his work, published in major scientific and medical journals, including Nature, Lancet, JAMA, New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, BMJ, etc. He has also widely taught these subjects. During the last 25 years, Dr. Djulbegovic has received continuous external funding from federal and private entities. He was also selected in Newsweek's list of Top Cancer Doctors and, since 2011 continuously been selected among 1% of top US doctors by the US News \& World Report in the field of hematology. His current h-index is 72, and he has been regularly included in the top 1% cited scientists worldwide.

Dr. Mohammad Alhousani is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) with expertise in lymphomas and related B- and T-cell disorders, including both aggressive and indolent non-Hodgkin lymphomas, Hodgkin lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), Waldenström macroglobulinemia, and central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma. Dr. Alhousani's clinical and research interests focus on bringing the latest advances in lymphoma care to his patients. He has a particular interest in CAR T-cell therapy, bispecific antibodies, clinical trials, and blood and marrow transplantation for patients with lymphoma. Madison Taylor Gilinsky is a licensed and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in Hematology-Oncology. She graduated in May of 2022 from the University of South Carolina with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Her first degree was a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Western Kentucky University, graduating in 2016. After obtaining her first degree as a Registered Nurse with her BSN, Madison practiced primarily in the Intensive Care Unit, with her first position in Lexington, Kentucky at Saint Joseph East Hospital. Her focus on Intensive Care specialized to that of Neuroscience when she joined the Medical University of South Carolina family in March of 2018. Here at MUSC she expanded her knowledge to many different Adult Intensive Care specialties along with working in Pediatrics through the Infusion Clinic, Urgent Care and Allergy/Immunology Clinic at MUSC Summey Medical Pavilion. During her pursuit of a master's degree, Madison transitioned to travel nursing in 2021 to bring new perspective and challenge. This took her to North Carolina and eventually to California where she accepted her first position as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at MinuteClinic, an urgent care-type setting after graduating and becoming board-certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. After growing as a new practitioner and gaining much knowledge and experience, Madison decided to make Charleston home again and is excited to start this new journey caring for oncology patients within the MUSC community by joining the infusion team at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center.

He completed his undergraduate studies at East Carolina University graduating with a degree in nutrition and dietetics. He then became a registered dietitian working in various hospitals and clinics. After four years as a dietitian, Andrew returned to school and completed his masters in physician assistant studies at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has a passion for medicine and desire to help others.
