Dr. Stephen Savage graduated from Dartmouth College in 1989, completed medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1993 and received his urology training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City in 1999. He went on to receive fellowship training in minimally invasive urology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Following completion of his fellowship, he was the director of minimally invasive urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center from 2000 through 2002 when he joined the staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to help develop their minimally invasive urologic oncology program. He joined the staff at the Medical University of South Carolina and Hollings Cancer Center in 2004 as an associate professor of urology and director of minimally invasive urology.Dr. Savage has interest and expertise in the minimally invasive treatment of urologic cancers including prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular. He has performed complex minimally invasive surgeries since 1999 and continues to utilize these techniques to benefit patients in the approach to urologic cancer. He has published numerous articles related to urologic cancers and participates in many multidisciplinary clinical trials. He is the vice chairman of the Department of Urology and is the director of the urologic oncology fellowship at MUSC.

Eric S. Rovner, M.D. is the director of the section of voiding dysfunction, female urology, and urodynamics in the Department of Urology at MUSC. He has a highly specialized clinical practice within urology and sees mostly patients with complex voiding problems including urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, urinary fistulae, and neurogenic bladder dysfunction. Dr. Rovner is a board-certified member of the American Urological Association, fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Association of GU Surgeons, Society of Pelvic Surgeons, Society of University Urologists, Societe Internationale D'Urologie, and the Society for Urodynamics, Female Urology, and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU), among others. Dr. Rovner has served on several committees for the WHO international consultation on incontinence, and served as a member of the American Urological Association's stress incontinence surgery guidelines committee. He is a past president of SUFU, past chair of the young urologists committee of the AUA and past member of the AUA education council as well as the ABU/AUA written and oral examination committees. Dr. Rovner's research interests include the study of voiding dysfunction, incontinence, overactive bladder, neurourology, and urodynamics. He has held several visiting professorships nationally and internationally, and is the author of over 150 peer-reviewed scientific articles, monographs, and book chapters on these topics as well as a book on urinary incontinence and urodynamics. He has been an invited speaker on numerous occasions throughout the United States and the world and has been the principal or co-investigator on multiple grants.
