At MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, more than 400 new patients will come to our gynecologic cancer program this year, and there's a good reason for that. Not only do we offer you the state's only female gynecologic oncologists; we also have nationally known radiation oncologists, ovarian cancer specialists and gynecologic pathologists. We specialize in the diagnosis, surgery, treatment and management of cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and vulvar cancer with compassion and thoroughness.

Taylor Orellana, M.D.

About

Dr. Taylor Orellana is a gynecologic oncologist at Hollings Cancer Center. She grew up in Greer, South Carolina and attended Clemson University for her undergraduate studies in Health Science. She attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. She then went on to complete her OB/GYN residency and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Orellana provides comprehensive care for gynecologic pre-cancers, cancers, and complex benign conditions, including open surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and chemotherapy. Dr. Orellana's research interests include management of endometrial cancer, tumor molecular classification, and cost-effectiveness studies.

Dr. DeWitt Rogers is a gynecologic oncologist at the Hollings Cancer Center. He attended the Mercer University school of Medicine for medical school and stayed for residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Savannah, Georgia. He then completed his fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. His research interests include clinical trials and enhancing patient experiences undergoing chemotherapy. In fellowship Dr. Rogers participated in research to develop novel therapies for ovarian cancer. Dr. Rogers provides comprehensive gynecologic oncology care, including both chemotherapy and surgery for benign and malignant conditions. Dr. Rogers's clinical specialties include ovarian cancer surgery, surgery for vulvar cancer, as well as minimally invasive surgery (robotic, laparoscopic, and vaginal).

Dr. Whitney Graybill joined MUSC Women's Care as a gynecologist oncologist in 2010. Dr. Graybill graduated undergrad from Vanderbilt University. She graduated medical school from Quillen College of Medicine in Tennessee and residency at the University of Alabama. Dr. Graybill completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her interests include minimally invasive robotic surgery, clinical trials, and translational ovarian cancer research.

Dr. Brian Orr is a gynecologic oncologist at Hollings Cancer Center and assistant professor at Medical University of South Carolina. He completed residency at the University of South Florida and fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh. As faculty at University of Pittsburgh, he completed a master's degree in Clinical and Translational Science. In addition to clinical activities of minimally invasive surgery, chemotherapy, and HIPEC for gynecologic cancer patients, he is active in clinical research. Dr. Orr's research interests are in translational clinical trial development for ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvar cancers. His expertise is in immunotherapy and targeted therapies.

About

Dr. David Mysona is a gynecologic oncologist at Hollings Cancer Center. He takes care of women with cancers of the ovaries, uterus, cervix, vagina, and vulva. He performs open, robotic, vaginal, and laparoscopic surgeries. He also specializes in chemotherapy, hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. Dr. Mysona went to college at the University of South Carolina, where he studied biomedical engineering. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina. He returned to the Medical College of Georgia for his gynecologic oncology fellowship. Dr. Mysona's research focuses on how to better match therapies to each patient.
