Dr. Alka Kohli is an OB/GYN who provides thoughtful, personalized care to women and teens at every stage of life. She currently sees patients in the office one day a week and is especially passionate about helping young people who are seeing a gynecologist for the first time. Her calm, caring approach puts patients at ease and helps them feel confident talking about their health. Dr. Kohli takes time to explain what's going on in the body, what to expect during exams or treatments, and how to make informed decisions about personal health and wellness. She believes that learning about your body is an important part of caring for it-and she wants every patient to feel safe, respected, and supported. She earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Indianapolis. With decades of experience, she brings both deep medical knowledge and a warm, down-to-earth style that patients appreciate. Dr. Kohli is especially committed to education-whether she's teaching a teen about her first visit or helping a patient navigate changes through different stages of life. In addition to her clinical work, she enjoys mentoring young healthcare professionals and giving back to the community through volunteer service. Dr. Saju Joy is a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist and clinical professor at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, residency at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center Jacksonville and fellowship training at the Ohio State University. He has held faculty appointments at Wake Forest University and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Joy's clinical and research interests include in-utero fetal therapy and the impact of obesity on pregnancy.
