Nicholas Grimaldi, DO is a board-certified orthopedic and spine specialist with advanced training in minimally invasive spine surgery, joint replacement, and conservative orthopedic care. He provides comprehensive treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including spine disorders, hip, knee, and shoulder problems, and sports injuries. Dr. Grimaldi is skilled in both surgical and non-surgical approaches, offering arthroscopic surgery, as well as orthopedic and spinal injections, to help patients return to active, pain-free lives. Dr. Grimaldi completed his orthopedic surgery residency and internship at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, in affiliation with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. With a patient-centered philosophy, he emphasizes individualized treatment plans and prioritizes conservative care whenever possible.

Dr. Christensen provides a full range of orthopaedic services and care. He is Board Certified in orthopaedic surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Christensen attended Furman University in Greenville, SC where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and was an ROTC scholar. He received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD where he trained at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well as Bethesda Naval Medical Center. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at a joint program between Texas Tech University and William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX. He also trained at the St. Joseph Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Christensen served as a United States Army orthopaedic surgeon for 15 years, which included deployments to Afghanistan and Kuwait, and served as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. After two years, he transferred to Moncrief Army Community Hospital in Columbia, SC where he served as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery as well as Chief of Surgery for 8 years. He received several Meritorious Service Medals as well as the Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters during his distinguished military career.

Candler Mathews, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. He has particular interest in the arthroscopic and minimally invasive treatment of knee, shoulder, and hip conditions, including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, and hip preservation. A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Dr. Mathews is passionate about caring for patients in his home state. He earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina and his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was named Outstanding Resident Teacher. He then completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at Vanderbilt University, receiving advanced training in sports-related injuries and shoulder replacements . During his fellowship, Dr. Mathews helped care for several teams, including the Nashville Predators (NHL), Nashville SC (MLS), the Nashville Sounds (MiLB), Vanderbilt Athletics (NCAA), and Nashville Metro high schools. His clinical practice includes sports medicine, orthopedic trauma, joint replacement, and general orthopedics. He is committed to helping patients of all ages return to an active lifestyle using both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. Outside of work, Dr. Mathews has remained active in community service, serving as a high school team physician in Arkansas, volunteering at pre-participation physical events, and at the Shade Tree Free Clinic in Nashville. He enjoys spending time with his wife, toddler son, and golden retriever, and his hobbies include golfing, duck hunting, playing pickleball, and cheering on the Gamecocks.
