A native of Dearborn, Michigan, Dr. Tom Schriefer received his M.D. degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his neurology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and an electromyography fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Schriefer coauthored several papers regarding magnetic brain stimulation while during research work at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases in London. Prior to joining the MUSC Center for Telehealth, he worked in private practice in Minneapolis. Dr. Schriefer enjoys seeing patients with all neurologic problems, but finds headache patients particularly rewarding. Outside of work, he can be found on his bike, in the garden, or at the gym.

A native of Athens, GA, Dr. Hayley Walter, rheumatologist, received her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Mercer University in Savannah, GA. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Memorial Health University/Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah and her rheumatology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Walter was named intern and resident of the year during her residency, and in 2016-2017, she was elected Chief Resident. Throughout her fellowship training, she did additional research focusing on the potential link between the gut microbiome and kidney inflammation in lupus patients. She then joined a private practice in Denver, CO. In 2023, Dr. Walter joined the MUSC Center for Telehealth. She is committed to helping patients manage rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, Sjogren's syndrome, scleroderma, connective tissue disease, and osteoporosis/bone health. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, live music, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two sons. Dr. Hayley Walter is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.

Marjorie Paul, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She obtained her Master's degree at Duke University School of Nursing and her Bachelor's degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. Marjorie's passion is to provide individualized and safe care to each and every patient and advocate for patients' best care using evidence-based practice medicine. She believes in collaborating with patients and their families to empower them, help them better manage their illnesses, and have healthier and happier lives. Marjorie has been providing patient-centered care for over a decade in various healthcare settings: hospitals, clinics, offices, patient's homes, and via telehealth. She has extensive clinical experience in the management of endocrine diseases, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, Hypogonadism, Metabolic Syndrome, Hyperlipidemia, PCOS, Thyroid diseases, and Osteoporosis. Prior to joining MUSC Health Center for Telehealth, Marjorie practiced at Duke Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Nutrition; Raleigh Endocrine Associates; and Primary Care practices in North Carolina. Marjorie's research interests include Diabetes management, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). She is also a Clinical Instructor at Duke University School of Nursing. She speaks French, Spanish, and Creole.

Dr. Robert Borowski is a board-certified endocrinologist for MUSC Health's Center for Telehealth. He sees patients virtually to help bring his endocrinology expertise across the state of South Carolina. While treating most endocrinology conditions, he has particular interests in type I and type II diabetes, and obesity. In the past, he helped develop and run a transition clinic. This clinic transitioned patients from pediatric to adult endocrinology while supporting them to gain confidence, independence, and chronic disease control. Additionally, Dr. Borowski treats disorders of the pituitary, thyroid, adrenal glands, calcium/parathyroid diseases, PCOS, and osteoporosis. He received his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University at Buffalo and earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. Dr. Borowski completed his internal medicine residency at United Hospital Services in Binghamton, NY (2017), and his fellowship in endocrinology at the University at Buffalo (2019). He is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolic disorders, and internal medicine. Dr. Borowski has had type I diabetes since the age of three and has a wealth of firsthand experience with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. He understands the difficulty of living with a chronic disease but also knows what is required to fully accept the diagnosis, how to build skills to overcome the barriers and challenges, and strategies to stay motivated to live a healthy, *meaningful life.* By blending the knowledge he has acquired as a chronic disease patient with his medical skill and experience in the healthcare system, Dr. Borowski can provide personalized treatment plans to empower and motivate patients. He aims to help patients better understand their disease and learn to live a balanced, productive, and healthy life. Dr. Borowski uses a whole-body approach and works with his patients to develop an evidence-based treatment plan. This plan is one in which patients understand and feel confident, to stabilize the disorder and maximize their health and well-being. Dr. Borowski is passionate about the new opportunities that telemedicine can bring. He hopes to utilize this platform to reduce the burden of appointments and increase access to the field of endocrinology across the state of South Carolina. Most endocrinology conditions can be treated through the telehealth platform, but if an in-person visit is needed, his team will help coordinate this with the MUSC Health Endocrinology Team.

Nicole has been a Physician Assistant since 2017. Originally from the Northeast, she received her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies in Boston at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. Prior to graduate school she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Science along with a radiography certification. She has experience in primary care, urgent care and rheumatology with particular interests in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and more. She treats patients holistically with an integrative approach, she also loves to educate her patients. She spends her free time with her husband and son, traveling, hiking, yoga and stand-up paddle boarding.

Dr. Kerry Briones is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She was recognized as a Top Doctor by Charlotte Magazine in 2024 and is excited to join MUSC Health in Indian Land. She completed her undergraduate work at Princeton University, earning a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and a certificate in Spanish. After spending a year teaching high school with Americorps in Los Angeles, she attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Briones then completed residency training in Internal Medicine at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina. She worked on faculty at MUSC and UNC Chapel Hill before moving to Charlotte. In Charlotte, she has worked for Atrium and Tryon Medical Partners before joining MUSC. Dr. Briones aims to provide her patients with comprehensive preventative care and encourages her patients to optimize lifestyle factors that impact their health.

Dr. Swapna Paladugu, M.D., is a dedicated family medicine practitioner committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients. She currently practices at MUSC Health Primary Care Richburg. Dr. Paladugu embarked on her medical journey at Vinayaka Mission Medical College in Tamil Nadu, India, where she completed her undergraduate education. She then pursued residency training at Genesys Regional Medical Center/Michigan State University in Flint, Michigan, specializing in Family Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Paladugu has continuously pursued professional development and excellence. She holds certifications in ACLS, MRO DOT, and USCIS civil surgeon and is AAFP Board Certified. Since joining the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Family Medicine team in 2013, Dr. Paladugu has served as a dedicated faculty member and instructor for medical students at MUSC and Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). Her commitment to medical education extends back to her time at Michigan State University, where she also served as a faculty member. Dr. Paladugu's passion for advancing medical knowledge is evident in her Principal Investigator for Peak Research role. Additionally, she currently holds the position of Medical Director at Lancaster Hospice, overseeing end-of-life care for patients and their families. Throughout her career, Dr. Paladugu has sought opportunities to broaden her clinical experience through observer-ships at Ingalls Hospital in Chicago and the Allergy Immunology Clinic in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She completed her compulsory rotatory internship at Vinayaka Medical Hospital in India. Dr. Swapna Paladugu, M.D., is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and contributing to the advancement of medical education and research in family medicine.

Dr. Chaudhary is an internal medicine physician who enjoys treating patients 18 years and older. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Chaudhary completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After completing her residency, Dr. Chaudhary decided to return to her home state of South Carolina to serve the needs of fellow South Carolinians. Dr. Chaudhary maintains a clinical patient care model comprising evidence-based medicine to help ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Dr. Chaudhary's clinical interests include women's health, mental health, and chronic disease management, including diabetes and high blood pressure. Dr. Chaudhary is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association member.

Dr. Kelsey Thomas is a Family Medicine physician with experience in providing comprehensive health care to patients of all ages - from newborns to seniors. She has a particular interest in the management of Hypertension, Diabetes and Obesity. Dr. Thomas also welcomes minor clinic procedures, including insertion and removal of contraception devices, pap smears, skin biopsies, incision and drainage of abscesses, and cyst excision. She is a graduate of Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, with a Bachelor and Master's degree in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from St. James School of Medicine in Anguilla in 2017 and completed residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She spent two years in rural Iowa, practicing full-spectrum Family Medicine including Obstetrics Inpatient Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Thomas is Board-Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. She currently holds licensure in the states of South Carolina, Texas and Iowa. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Thomas is a native of Greenville, Mississippi. She is married with two children. In her spare time, Dr. Thomas enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Dr. Amanda White is a board-certified family medicine physician practicing at MUSC Health - Primary Care - Lancaster practice. Dr. White enjoys providing quality health care to individuals across all age ranges. She is able to perform minor procedures in the office, including skin biopsies, joint injections, laceration repairs, and women's health procedures (pap smears). Her areas of clinical interest include preventive medicine, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, contraception, adolescent wellness, and women's health.

Kelly Warnock is a licensed and board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides care to both children and adults. For several years, Kelly worked as an RN at Duke University Medical Center. From there, she earned her MSN from the University of Phoenix and later her FNP from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, she worked as Chief Nursing Officer and developed Case Management programs for local hospitals. She has been working in the Camden area since 2010. Kelly's clinical interests include chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. She is dedicated to helping people live their best and healthiest life. She has a passion for international missions, and she has made several trips to Nepal, India, and most recently Ecuador. She serves as the Health and Hunger Committee's chairperson for the local United Way, with the goal of improving community health. She lives in Camden and enjoys spending her free time with her family---especially her three grandchildren that call her "Mimi."

Dr. Robin M. Fuchs is a Family Practice physician based in Kershaw, South Carolina. She earned her medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2016. Dr. Fuchs holds a South Carolina medical license (DO83062) and is affiliated with Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. Her practice is located at 216 E Marion St, Kershaw, SC 29067, where she offers comprehensive family medicine services. Dr. Fuchs is also trained in hospice and palliative medicine, providing compassionate care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. She is currently enrolled in an organized health care education/training program to further her medical expertise.

Dr. Foster, raised in Columbia, SC, is a primary care physician who is board certified in family medicine. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC where he earned his medical degree, master's degree in biomedical science, and trained extensively with the MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program. He has been invited to present research at several conferences and has received several accolades during his medical training, including membership to the Gold Humanism Honor Society and being awarded the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Resident Teacher Award. He brings much experience managing medically complex patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. He is passionate about preventing and treating many diseases and conditions; but most of all, he is invested in the health and wellness of the people of South Carolina. He has trained alongside some of the most talented physicians at MUSC Health-Charleston and is excited to bring his MUSC Health-Charleston experience to the people of the Midlands area. He is a devoted husband and father and enjoys exercising and spending time with his family.

Dr. Timothy Mark Wilson, Jr. is a dedicated Family Medicine physician at MUSC Health Primary Care Lugoff. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Clemson University before attending the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where he received his medical doctorate. Dr. Wilson completed his residency in Family Medicine at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood, SC, and further enhanced his training by completing the Arizona Center for Integrative Health residency track. A member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, Dr. Wilson is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys reading, working in the yard, and taking walks with his wife.
