She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Florida Atlantic University and prior to that she earned her associate's degree in nursing from Palm Beach Community College. She enjoys treating patients with acute and chronic GI conditions. She has more than 10 years' experience in GI.

Jenna Bender has been a Physician Assistant for over ten years. She received her training and education at Wake Forest University. She started her professional career in transplant surgery, focusing on liver and kidney disease. Since transitioning to outpatient Gastroenterology practice, she has focused on liver disease with a strong interest in treating Hepatitis C. In addition to liver disease, she also treats patients with inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and esophageal conditions.
