Dr. Tara Kelly Van Leuven is an obstetrician/gynecologist, originally from Buffalo, NY. She earned her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC, and completed her residency training there as well, at Georgetown University Hospital, in 2012. She then practiced for eight years at Georgetown as an attending physician in the Department of Ob/Gyn, focusing her practice on benign gynecologic surgery. In 2020, she and her family decided to relocate to the Charleston area, where she is excited to join the team at MUSC. She has expertise in the treatment of fibroids and endometriosis, as well as minimally invasive surgery. She also enjoys taking care of women before, during, and after pregnancy. She is committed to evidence-based medicine, the education of medical students and residents, as well as providing personalized, individual care to each and every one of her patients.

Dr. Rachel Powell joined MUSC Women's Health as an obstetrician gynecologist in 2019. Dr. Powell received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Microbiology. She earned her medical degree from MUSC, then completed her residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University where she served as an administrative chief resident and received the AAGL award for excellence in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Powell provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecologic services with special interests in contraception, obstetrics, vaginal birth after cesarean and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Michelle Meglin joined the faculty of MUSC in 2015. She received her undergraduate degree from Davidson College and completed medical school at Wake Forest University. She completed OB/GYN residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Dr. Meglin provides comprehensive gynecological care, and her special interests include pediatric and adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, and contraception. She received the ABOG Focused Practice Designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology in 2022. She is committed to the education of medical students and residents, evidence-based medicine, and excellent patient care.

Dr. Crystal Houlton is an obstetrician/gynecologist originally from Galveston, Texas. She graduated from Baylor University, earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati in 2012. She then practiced in Seattle for almost 9 years before relocating to Charleston with her family. Her goal is to provide patient-focused, personalized, and compassionate care. She has a special interest in minimally invasive robotic surgery, preconception counseling, prenatal care and menopause. Dr. Houlton is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). She cares for women of all ages and enjoys the relationships formed with patients from caring for them over many years.

Dr. Susanne Bradford has practiced Ob/Gyn in the Charleston area for 20 years and joined MUSC Women's Health in 2023. Through her experience, she has worked with both high risk and low risk obstetrical patients and finds the journey to be continually rewarding. She also enjoys assisting patients with any number of gynecologic conditions and works to make sure patients know their medical as well as surgical options for whatever condition needs to be addressed. She attended the University of Michigan and Wayne State University in Detroit for medical school and residency in Detroit. She then served 4 years as an Active Duty Naval Officer caring for active duty members as well as dependents prior to joining the private sector.

Marcy Nagpal is an obstetrician/gynecologist who joined the faculty of MUSC in 2022. While in college at the University of Arizona, her own doctor inspired her to change her career path from computer engineering to medicine, and she matriculated to New York Medical College to become an OB/GYN. She completed her residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. After graduating in 2012, she practiced for 10 years in San Antonio in private practice, developing long-term connections with her patients. She believes in a collaborative, patient-centered approach to medicine. Dr. Nagpal provides comprehensive women's care, and her targeted interests include contraception management, pregnancy care, adolescent gynecology, menopause and minimally invasive surgery. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).

Dr. Angela Choi joined MUSC Women's Care as an obstetrician gynecologist in 2013. She graduated undergrad from Wake Forest University and completed medical school and residency at MUSC. Dr. Choi provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecological services, and her special interests include contraception and family planning, preconception counseling, adolescent gynecology, obstetrics and menopause. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).
