Sierra Morrow, Au.D., CCC-A

About

Sierra Joan Morrow, Au.D. CCC-A, is a board-certified clinical instructor of Audiology. Her clinical interests include diagnostic behavioral assessments, neurodiagnostic assessments, vestibular assessments, hearing aids, bone-conduction hearing aids, osseointegrated devices, and communication strategies.Dr. Morrow provides services for pediatric patients ages birth through the start of adulthood, and for typically developing children and children with disabilities and neurodevelopmental differences. Dr. Morrow received her Bachelor's of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2021, and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2025. She completed her fourth-year externship at Children's Hospital Colorado, where she found a deep passion for providing audiological care and services for the pediatric population. Her professionalism, leadership, and knowledge allowed her to excel in her student studies and clinical career, while making a positive impact on the audiological community in the state of Colorado, and now in South Carolina. Dr. Morrow prides herself in her quality patient-centered care and use of evidence-based practice, while focusing on meeting the needs of both the patient and their family. Dr. Morrow is a positive and proactive provider, who is adaptable to meet the developmental, social, and emotional needs of each child she encounters.

Meghan Carter, AuD, CCC-A, is a cochlear implant audiologist at the Medical University of South Carolina. She graduated from Worcester State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and earned her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Carter completed a cochlear implant externship at the University of South Carolina prior to joining MUSC's cochlear implant team in 2022. Dr. Carter specializes in the evaluation, programming, and long-term management of adult and pediatric cochlear implant recipients. Her clinical interests include cochlear implantation for individuals with single-sided deafness, asymmetric hearing loss, and congenital hearing loss, including patients with developmental differences and complex medical needs. Dr. Carter is committed to providing patient- and family-centered care and enjoys partnering with patients and their families to develop personalized hearing solutions that support their communication goals and overall quality of life. Dr. Carter is licensed to practice audiology in the state of South Carolina and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Kelly M. Anderson, AuD, CCC-A is a certified clinical instructor of Audiology. Dr. Anderson received her Bachelor of Sciences (BS) in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University, and received her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While receiving her doctorate, Dr. Anderson was involved in research in order to stay up-to-date on the best practices for audiologic care. She presented research at local and national conferences and was honored to have a research article published in the American Journal of Audiology. Dr. Anderson completed her clinical externship year at the Medical University of South Carolina where she received extensive training in pediatric audiology. She joined the department of Otolaryngology at MUSC in the summer of 2023. Dr. Anderson is passionate about providing resources, support, and technology that will assist children with hearing loss in their expressive and receptive language development, while maintaining personable rapport with them and their families. Her clinical interests and expertise include diagnosing hearing loss (auditory brainstem response testing and behavioral audiologic testing) and management of hearing healthcare (hearing aids, bone-conduction hearing aids, osseointegrated devices, and assistive listening devices).

Elizabeth Vass image

About

Elizabeth Pahygiannis Vass, Au.D., CCC-A, is a clinical audiologist in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She specializes in diagnosing and managing adult hearing loss, as well as vestibular disorders in both adults and children. Dr. Vass earned her undergraduate and Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees from James Madison University. She completed her clinical externship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., gaining experience in hearing aids, cochlear implants, audiologic testing, and electrophysiology across the lifespan. She later completed a yearlong fellowship in vestibular diagnostics and research at MUSC. At MUSC, Dr. Vass is part of the Vestibular Program and contributes to the training of audiology externs and fellows. Her clinical interests include adult hearing rehabilitation with traditional and bone-anchored hearing aids, as well as advanced diagnostic testing for balance disorders using videonystagmography (VNG), posturography, video head impulse testing (vHIT), and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP). She participates in vestibular and hearing science research, holds licensure in South Carolina, and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Balance Society (ABS).

Ryley Watt, AuD, CCC-A, is a certified Clinical Instructor of Audiology in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Watt specializes in diagnosing and managing adult and pediatric hearing loss. She graduated from The University of Akron with her Bachelor's of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh, where she received her Doctorate of Audiology. Dr. Watt completed her clinical residency year at MUSC, where she specialized in adult and pediatric diagnostic evaluations, adult and pediatric amplification (hearing aids, bone conduction hearing aids, and osseointegrated implanted devices), vestibular evaluations, Auditory Brainstem Response evaluations, and cochlear implants. Her clinical interests include the management of hearing loss in pediatrics and adults, including the dispensing and programming of hearing aids, bone conduction hearing aids, and osseointegrated implanted devices. Dr. Watt is passionate about providing patient-centered care, improving patients' quality of life, and providing care across the entire lifespan. Dr. Watt is a member of the American Hearing and Speech Association (ASHA).

Annabell E. Thomas-Harmon, AuD, CCC-A is a certified clinical instructor of Audiology. She received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University and her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Thomas-Harmon completed her clinical externship year at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where she specialized in all areas of pediatric audiology and volunteered her time at community outreach events whenever possible. Dr. Thomas-Harmon is passionate about early identification of hearing loss and early intervention. Her clinical specialties include behavioral hearing evaluations for infants and children, natural sleep and sedated hearing evaluations, hearing aids and osseo-integrated devices, and pediatric vestibular testing. Annabell is passionate about working with kids of all developmental levels and prides herself on her ability to provide person-centered care in every appointment.

Mary Laing Holland AuD, CCC-A is a certified Clinical Instructor of Audiology. She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders with a concentration in Medical Human Development and Family Studies in 2018. Following graduation, she decided to continue her education at Auburn University where she earned her Doctorate of Audiology in 2022. Dr. Holland completed her clinical externship at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2021 to 2022 where she specialized in adult and pediatric diagnostic evaluations, adult and pediatric amplification (hearing aids, bone conduction devices, and osseointegrated devices), vestibular evaluations, and auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing.
