Solomon Hayon, M.D.

Dr. Solomon Hayon is an Assistant Professor of Urology and the Director of Men's Health and Male Infertility at the Medical University of South Carolina. He graduated with honors from Wake Forest University with a degree in Biophysics and was employed as a high school science teacher prior to pursuing medical training. He received a scholarship to attend the University of Maryland Medical School and completed his urology residency at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Dr. Hayon pursued further specialization, completing a fellowship in Andrology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The fellowship included in-depth training regarding male infertility treatments, microsurgical sperm extraction, varicocele repair, vasectomy, and vasectomy reversal. Additionally, he spent time learning the medical and surgical management of Men's Health issues such as erectile dysfunction and Peyronie's disease. He strives to deliver exceptional patient care in a comfortable environment with a focus on education, communication, and patient engagement.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Adams earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduation, he completed a urological residency at Emory University Hospital, followed by a laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital. After serving as a full-time faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. Adams returned to the Lowcountry, bringing his world-class medical training. Eric Wallen is Professor and Chair of the Urology Department at MUSC. His clinical work is focused on patient-centered delivery of care to patients with urologic malignancies such as prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancer. He is an expert in robotic surgery with over 20 years of experience. Prior to assuming the chair position at MUSC he was Professor, Vice-Chair of Education, Program Director, and Medical Director of System Supply Chain at UNC Chapel Hill. He graduated from Yale College with a degree in political science and received his MD from the University of California, Los Angeles. His urologic training was completed at Stanford University.

Benjamin Stone, M.D.

Benjamin Stone, MD is a urologic cancer surgeon who specializes in the management of kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer, and other cancers of the genitourinary system. Dr. Stone graduated from Princeton University and received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medicine with election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed urologic surgery residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and received advanced fellowship training in urologic oncology at Harvard Medical School.
His surgical practice focuses on the management of urologic cancers using advanced, minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic techniques in addition to traditional open surgery. He has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and textbook chapters, and his research interests include improving disparities in access to quality care and reducing the financial burden of cancer treatment.

Joanne Sujitra Daniel, DHSc, PA-C, BSN specializes in urology with a focus on the treatment and prevention of kidney stones. She is interested in the practice of preventive medicine through patient education and is also actively engaged in the training and education of students. In addition to urology, she is also experienced in rural health and migrant worker health and has clinical interests in underserved populations and resource deprived communities. In 2015, Joanne graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her bachelor's degree in nursing. She completed her master's degree in Marietta College in 2017 and obtained her doctorate of health sciences with a focus on research and education from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2021. Dr. Matvey Tsivian is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologic oncologist. Dr. Tsivian graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Bologna Medical School in Italy, followed by an internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center. He then completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Prior to joining MUSC Health in 2024, Dr. Tsivian was an Assistant Professor of Urology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center.
