Marjorie Paul, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She obtained her Master's degree at Duke University School of Nursing and her Bachelor's degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. Marjorie's passion is to provide individualized and safe care to each and every patient and advocate for patients' best care using evidence-based practice medicine. She believes in collaborating with patients and their families to empower them, help them better manage their illnesses, and have healthier and happier lives. Marjorie has been providing patient-centered care for over a decade in various healthcare settings: hospitals, clinics, offices, patient's homes, and via telehealth. She has extensive clinical experience in the management of endocrine diseases, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, Hypogonadism, Metabolic Syndrome, Hyperlipidemia, PCOS, Thyroid diseases, and Osteoporosis. Prior to joining MUSC Health Center for Telehealth, Marjorie practiced at Duke Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Nutrition; Raleigh Endocrine Associates; and Primary Care practices in North Carolina. Marjorie's research interests include Diabetes management, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). She is also a Clinical Instructor at Duke University School of Nursing. She speaks French, Spanish, and Creole.

A native of Athens, GA, Dr. Hayley Walter, rheumatologist, received her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Mercer University in Savannah, GA. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Memorial Health University/Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah and her rheumatology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Walter was named intern and resident of the year during her residency, and in 2016-2017, she was elected Chief Resident. Throughout her fellowship training, she did additional research focusing on the potential link between the gut microbiome and kidney inflammation in lupus patients. She then joined a private practice in Denver, CO. In 2023, Dr. Walter joined the MUSC Center for Telehealth. She is committed to helping patients manage rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, Sjogren's syndrome, scleroderma, connective tissue disease, and osteoporosis/bone health. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, live music, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two sons. Dr. Hayley Walter is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.

A native of Dearborn, Michigan, Dr. Tom Schriefer received his M.D. degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his neurology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and an electromyography fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Schriefer coauthored several papers regarding magnetic brain stimulation while during research work at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases in London. Prior to joining the MUSC Center for Telehealth, he worked in private practice in Minneapolis. Dr. Schriefer enjoys seeing patients with all neurologic problems, but finds headache patients particularly rewarding. Outside of work, he can be found on his bike, in the garden, or at the gym.

Dr. Robert Borowski is a board-certified endocrinologist for MUSC Health's Center for Telehealth. He sees patients virtually to help bring his endocrinology expertise across the state of South Carolina. While treating most endocrinology conditions, he has particular interests in type I and type II diabetes, and obesity. In the past, he helped develop and run a transition clinic. This clinic transitioned patients from pediatric to adult endocrinology while supporting them to gain confidence, independence, and chronic disease control. Additionally, Dr. Borowski treats disorders of the pituitary, thyroid, adrenal glands, calcium/parathyroid diseases, PCOS, and osteoporosis. He received his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University at Buffalo and earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. Dr. Borowski completed his internal medicine residency at United Hospital Services in Binghamton, NY (2017), and his fellowship in endocrinology at the University at Buffalo (2019). He is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolic disorders, and internal medicine. Dr. Borowski has had type I diabetes since the age of three and has a wealth of firsthand experience with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. He understands the difficulty of living with a chronic disease but also knows what is required to fully accept the diagnosis, how to build skills to overcome the barriers and challenges, and strategies to stay motivated to live a healthy, *meaningful life.* By blending the knowledge he has acquired as a chronic disease patient with his medical skill and experience in the healthcare system, Dr. Borowski can provide personalized treatment plans to empower and motivate patients. He aims to help patients better understand their disease and learn to live a balanced, productive, and healthy life. Dr. Borowski uses a whole-body approach and works with his patients to develop an evidence-based treatment plan. This plan is one in which patients understand and feel confident, to stabilize the disorder and maximize their health and well-being. Dr. Borowski is passionate about the new opportunities that telemedicine can bring. He hopes to utilize this platform to reduce the burden of appointments and increase access to the field of endocrinology across the state of South Carolina. Most endocrinology conditions can be treated through the telehealth platform, but if an in-person visit is needed, his team will help coordinate this with the MUSC Health Endocrinology Team.

Nicole has been a Physician Assistant since 2017. Originally from the Northeast, she received her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies in Boston at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. Prior to graduate school she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Science along with a radiography certification. She has experience in primary care, urgent care and rheumatology with particular interests in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and more. She treats patients holistically with an integrative approach, she also loves to educate her patients. She spends her free time with her husband and son, traveling, hiking, yoga and stand-up paddle boarding.

Eric Wallen is Professor and Chair of the Urology Department at MUSC. His clinical work is focused on patient-centered delivery of care to patients with urologic malignancies such as prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancer. He is an expert in robotic surgery with over 20 years of experience. Prior to assuming the chair position at MUSC he was Professor, Vice-Chair of Education, Program Director, and Medical Director of System Supply Chain at UNC Chapel Hill. He graduated from Yale College with a degree in political science and received his MD from the University of California, Los Angeles. His urologic training was completed at Stanford University.

Dr. Jay S. Chavali is a Board-eligible urologist currently practicing at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his urology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and pursued a fellowship in Robotic and Minimally Invasive Urology Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Chavali's clinical interests include robotics, oncology, and benign prostatic hypertrophy. He is actively involved in academic research, with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and a robust record of presenting at regional, national, and international conferences. His work reflects a strong commitment to advancing the field of urology through innovative surgical techniques and comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Stephen Savage graduated from Dartmouth College in 1989, completed medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1993 and received his urology training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City in 1999. He went on to receive fellowship training in minimally invasive urology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Following completion of his fellowship, he was the director of minimally invasive urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center from 2000 through 2002 when he joined the staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to help develop their minimally invasive urologic oncology program. He joined the staff at the Medical University of South Carolina and Hollings Cancer Center in 2004 as an associate professor of urology and director of minimally invasive urology.Dr. Savage has interest and expertise in the minimally invasive treatment of urologic cancers including prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular. He has performed complex minimally invasive surgeries since 1999 and continues to utilize these techniques to benefit patients in the approach to urologic cancer. He has published numerous articles related to urologic cancers and participates in many multidisciplinary clinical trials. He is the vice chairman of the Department of Urology and is the director of the urologic oncology fellowship at MUSC.

Dr. Matvey Tsivian is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologic oncologist. Dr. Tsivian graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Bologna Medical School in Italy, followed by an internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center. He then completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Prior to joining MUSC Health in 2024, Dr. Tsivian was an Assistant Professor of Urology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Tsivian is quadrilingual, with a fluency in English, Hebrew, Russian, and Italian. Dr. Tsivian is the Director of the Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Lara Wine Lee is originally from the Washington, DC area. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University. She completed the medical scientist training program at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. She completed general pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia prior to her dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She subsequently completed fellowship training in pediatric dermatology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She joined the dermatology and pediatrics departments at MUSC in 2014. Dr. Wine Lee is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology where she serves on the patient and practice advocacy committee. Her interests include general pediatric dermatology with specialty interests in pediatric psoriasis, hemangiomas and vascular anomalies, and genetic skin disorders.

Dr. Chaudhry is a Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Consultant in the Department of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine. She treats various pulmonary and sleep-related conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and circadian rhythm disorder. Dr. Chaudhry received her medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan before completing her Internal Medicine residency in Long Island College Hospital in New York. She then moved to Columbia, South Carolina to do her Pulmonary fellowship at the University of South Carolina. While doing this, she also participated in research the effects of interleukins on sepsis. She later completed her Sleep fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, while also conducting clinical research on the correlation between restless leg syndrome and sleep-disordered breathing with fibromyalgia. Dr. Chaudhry loves working with patients and making her community a better place.

Laura Lybarger, DNP, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated in 2004 from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Waynesburg University in 2006. As a registered nurse, she spent the majority of her career working in the intensive care setting. In 2012, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University while working in family medicine and palliative care. Laura relocated from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Charleston, South Carolina, in 2017, where she initially worked in internal medicine and the adult sickle cell clinic. She currently practices in a primary care setting. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2020. She remains actively involved with the School of Nursing as an adjunct clinical faculty member and continues to precept nurse practitioner students. Her areas of interest include wellness and prevention, as well as the management of acute and chronic medical conditions. She provides care for patients across the lifespan, beginning at age 16 through geriatrics.

Dr. Daniel Landau is a board certified Hematologist/Oncologist. He has been in practice since 2011. Dr. Landau obtained his medical degree and residency from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and then completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute (previously a part of MD Anderson). Dr. Landau's has been at the forefront of managing both benign and malignant conditions. He has also served in a number of roles beyond being a clinician including the institution of a telehealth service within Orlando Health. He now joins MUSC in a telehealth role. Dr. Landau has also provided a major role in medical education, having trained physicians for more than a decade. Dr. Landau has been published/ presented research within the New England Journal of Medicine, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American society of Hematology.

Dr. Taylor MacDonald is a primary care sports medicine physician specializing in family and non-operative sports medicine. Dr. MacDonald earned his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, where he was involved with the sports medicine department of the Virginia Tech football team. He went on to complete medical school at VCOM in Blacksburg, VA. Then, he came to Charleston to complete his Family Medicine Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. After residency, Dr. MacDonald went on to complete a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute with Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, AL. During his fellowship, he was the team physician for Jacksonville State University, Birmingham-Southern College, the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team and Leeds High School. Dr. MacDonald has a special interest in sports medicine, sports-related concussions and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is trained in ultrasound-guided procedures, including joint injections, soft tissue/bursa injections, regenerative medicine procedures such as platelet-rich plasma injections and other biologics.
