Doris Paez, PhD, NCPS, is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals and families strengthen their mental and emotional well-being. She combines clinical expertise with genuine empathy to support children, adolescents, and adults working through anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, trauma, and major life changes. Her professional background spans hospitals, schools, and community mental health settings across the Southeast. Known for her collaborative approach, Dr. Páez works with each person to identify strengths, build resilience, and promote lasting growth. A graduate of the University of Florida with a Ph.D. in psychology and a specialization in bilingual school psychology, Dr. Páez has been nationally recognized for her leadership and her commitment to culturally responsive mental health care. She has authored numerous publications and presented widely on topics related to child development, equity, and cross-cultural psychology. Driven by her belief in the power of equitable care, Dr. Páez continues to advocate for accessible, culturally-attuned mental health services that empower individuals and strengthen communities.see upload

Felicia Walker, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She completed her residency in General Psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Duke University. Dr. Walker brings extensive experience in providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care through both clinical practice and telehealth. She has served in leadership and teaching roles, including curriculum development for psychiatry fellowship programs and mentoring future clinicians. Her work emphasizes improving access to mental health services for underserved populations and supporting patients with chronic and severe mental illness. An active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Walker has presented on topics such as racial disparities in mental health and human development. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking, and mentoring.

Peter Louis Loper Jr., M.D., MSEd, FAAP

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Dr. Loper earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the University of South Carolina (USC), his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the USC School of Medicine, and his Master of Science (MS) at the University of Pennsylvania. Following medical school, he completed a residency in pediatrics. He then worked as a pediatrician while completing a second residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. A diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Board of Preventative Medicine, Dr. Loper is quadruple board-certified in pediatrics, general psychiatry, child \& adolescent psychiatry, and addiction medicine. He is the medical director at the William J McCord Adolescent Addiction Treatment Facility, and the program director for the MUSC College of Medicine Rural Psychiatry Residency Program, both in Orangeburg, SC. He provides clinical services and clinical supervision of patient care by resident physicians for children, adolescents, and adults at the MUSC Orangeburg Behavioral Health and Psychiatry Clinic.
