Dr. Merritt S. Huber is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides care to both children and adults. His scope of practice includes well and preventative care, acute and sick visit care, and chronic disease management. He also performs minor office procedures including joint injections and minor dermatological procedures. He is passionate about partnering with patients, families, and the community to achieve the best possible care for his patients. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and went on to receive his residency training at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center.

Diana D. Alford is a board-certified physician assistant. She attended the College of Charleston and graduated cum laude with a biology degree in 1989 and went on to Clemson University where she earned her Master of Science in zoology. She was a dean's list student while attending the physician's assistant program at MUSC in Charleston and graduated in 2004. Diana has experience working in emergency medicine and primary care. She worked with Palmetto Primary Care Physicians just prior to joining the MUSC Health team.

Dr. William R. Bigelow is an internal medicine physician with a focus on primary care. His clinical interests are diabetes, hypertension, and preventive medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency training at the University of Wisconsin. Born and raised in South Carolina, he feels privileged to be caring for the people of the Lowcountry.

Dr. Sun Young Park, D.O. is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. Her passion in primary care is based on building a solid relationship with her patients and advocating them for their health. Dr. Park graduated from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. She completed her Family medicine residency training in East Carolina University Health in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Park was born and raised in South Korea, and she moved to America during her college year. She values diversity, and different cultures and backgrounds. Dr. Park is fluent in English and Korean. Dr. Park cares for patients with all ages (from kids and teens to older adults), manages acute and chronic medical conditions, and provides preventative medicine. She also offers minor outpatient procedures (pap smear, skin procedure, cryotherapy, joint injection, and Nexplanon insertion/removal, and etc.) and practices osteopathic manipulative medicine. Her special interests in Medicine are mental health, women's health, and obesity management. Dr. Park volunteers to rescue dogs and to help find their homes when she is outside of work.

Toni C. Pinckney, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and family medicine. She graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with both a Master's of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina, and an Associates Degree in Nursing from Trident Technical College. She is a very compassionate and thorough practitioner, who enjoys engaging patients as active participants in their healthcare.

Dr. Francy Vivas is a board certified Internal Medicine Physician with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and shared decision-making. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, where she received the Paul J. Furlong, MD Award also known as physician of physicians award for outstanding clinical performance, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Vivas earned her medical degree from Universidad Centroccidental "Lisandro Alvarado" in Venezuela, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She began her career as a rural physician, delivering comprehensive care to underserved communities, and later completed a residency in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). These experiences helped shape her holistic, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach to medicine. Her clinical interests include the management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and thyroid disorders, with a strong emphasis on lifestyle medicine and preventive care. Dr. Vivas integrates evidence-based medicine with practical health education to empower patients to meet their health goals. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Vivas is deeply committed to improving access to care for the Hispanic community. She strives to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where language and cultural differences are never a barrier to care. Dr. Vivas is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and delivering compassionate, personalized care that meets the needs of each individual. Reflecting on her professional journey, Dr. Vivas takes pride in her ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and in her commitment to clinical excellence. Her core strengths include strong diagnostic skills, cultural competence, and a dedication to patient education. Over the next five years, she aims to further develop her expertise in lifestyle medicine, and contribute to academic medicine through clinical teaching and community engagement.

Ja'lessa Cole, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care. Ja'lessa was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She also graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with both a Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree specializing in family practice. She is a South Carolina AHEC Scholar with a focus in addressing health disparities for underserved and at-risk populations. She is an active member of The Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing. Her areas of special interests include preventative care, acute and chronic disease management, reproductive health, and maintenance for holistic wellness. Her goal is to curate an individualized treatment plan to help achieve the best possible outcome. Ja'lessa looks forward to meeting new patients and creating ongoing relationships to provide quality care throughout their lifespan.

Jeanne Griffin Hill, M.D. is professor of radiology and pediatrics, division director of pediatric radiology, and director of medical student education for the Department of Radiology and Radiologic Science at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Hill received her BA from Duke University and M.D. from MUSC. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency training, served as chief resident, and completed pediatric radiology fellowship training at MUSC. She is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and has earned two certificates of added qualification in pediatric radiology. Among her awards and honors are membership in AOA, the National Medical Honor Society, and MUSC Radiology Department Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching. She was also a finalist for the MUSC College of Medicine's Clinical Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Hill has also been named among The Best Doctors in America, 2001 to 2015, one of America's Top Radiologists, and Who's Who Among America's Teachers.Dr. Hill has published articles and abstracts in a variety of journals, including the American Journal of Radiology, Radiographics, Pediatric Radiology, Clinical Radiology, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Academic Medicine. She has received two RSNA education grants, served as an oral board examiner for the pediatric section of the American Board of Radiology and is a member of several scholarly societies including the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society for Pediatric Radiology, and the Association of University Radiologists.Dr. Hill is very active in the local community where she has worked in the public and private schools mentoring middle school and high school students interested in medical careers. She has served on the PTO of Charleston Catholic School, the Ashley Hall Foundation Board, and the School Improvement Council of Wando High School. In addition, her passions include general pediatric radiology and teaching medical students and residents about diagnostic radiology and pediatric imaging.

William F. Conway, M.D. Ph.D. is professor of radiology and serves as the section head of musculoskeletal radiology and director of Rutledge Tower, Outpatient and Outreach Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. In 1973, Dr. Conway received a BS in biophysics from Brown University and entered the University of Chicago where he received a Ph.D. (Genetics) in 1979 and an M.D. in 1981. Following graduation, he completed an internship and part of an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa. Subsequently, Dr. Conway went on to complete a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. In 1987, he went to the Medical College of Virginia as assistant professor of radiology and was promoted to the rank of associate professor in 1991. In 1993, he came to the Medical University of South Carolina and was promoted to his current rank in 1995. Since that time, Dr. Conway has served in varying capacities within the Department of Radiology including: co-director of the residency program, vice-chairman of clinical activities and associate chairman of research. In 2006, he received the department's Golden Apple teaching award. Over the years, Dr. Conway has published over 100 articles, book chapters, and abstracts in such journals as Radiology, American Journal of Roentgenology and Skeletal Radiology. He has also served on the editorial boards of Radiology and The Radiologist. From 1994 to 1998, Dr. Conway was a member of the executive committee of The Society of Skeletal Radiology and from 1996 to 1998 was its president. Currently, he serves as an examiner for the American Board of Radiology.

Following medical school and house physician positions at Westminster Medical School, London, England, Dr. Costello began his North American career in radiology at the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is board certified in radiology and nuclear medicine, practicing for many years at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Dr. Costello was director of computed tomography and thoracic imaging at the Deaconess Hospital until 1996. During this time he became nationally and internationally known for his research on computed tomography of the body. He established a revolutionary CT research program which pioneered the introduction of this new technology into clinical practice. In 1996 Dr. Costello was recruited to join the leadership of Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia as director of diagnostic radiology, where over a three year period he successfully reorganized the hospital's program. In 1999 Dr. Costello returned to Harvard Medical School as chief of thoracic imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he was appointed professor of radiology. Dr. Costello joined MUSC in 2004 as professor and chairman of radiology. His clinical research endeavors have focused on cardio-pulmonary imaging. MUSC Radiology has become both nationally and internationally recognized as a strong academic program.
