Dr. Kendle was excellent, as was his fellow he had with him. We went in with a lot of fear over what a pregnancy would look like given my new health history thinking we would have no flexibility in having a say over my care. We were happy with both of their care and tone when discussing our miscarriage and the options. But I appreciate Dr. Kendle specifically being thorough when answering our questions about what a future pregnancy could look like. He never minimized risks but laid everything out that we truly felt informed and now a future pregnancy doesn't feel so scary. This experience helped us to feel comfortable with the care with the MFM team knowing doctors like him are there.

Dr. Kendle was clear, empathetic, and well prepared for the appointment. I felt that he had taken the time to review my history and answered all of our questions thoughtfully. His bedside manner was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend him in the future.

Dr. Kendle is outstanding! He treated me with respect, kindness and looked into my eyes giving me a lot of reassurance about my pregnancy. I wish there were a million "Dr. Kendles" out there and all pregnant people could have him as a doctor.

The MFM doctor that I was was one of the best doctor's appointment experiences of my life. He was SO compassionate, professional, respectful, and caring. He actually read my medical file, which was so reassuring, because it is extensive and many providers skip this step and make me explain everything. He asked me if I had any ideas to make this a better pregnancy experience mental health wise than last time, and listened to every word, idea, and concern I had to say. He agreed to run all of my ideas by the care team and do his best to make them happen, even though I knew they were extremely inconvenient. He ended every new topic with "if you are comfortable with it", which was so meaningful to me. He made me feel heard and understood and I have been sleeping better at night since our conversation. I didn't feel out of control. I actually went to an international Exstrophy conference the next day and talked about the appointment and how that should be the standard experience, and not feel like a rare miracle. I SO look forward to working with this wonderful doctor during my pregnancy!
