Dr. Katiana Garagozlo is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric pulmonologist. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell where she also served as an affiliate fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Columbia University/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She is dedicated to pulmonary care for infants and children from birth to 25 years old. She prides herself on a patient and family-centered approach to medical decision-making. Her clinical interests include children's interstitial lung disease (chILD) particularly the pulmonary complications of pediatric oncology and rheumatology. She remains involved in research in chILD, cystic fibrosis, and asthma.

We used to see the PA who has since left the practice. This was our first time meeting this doctor. She was lovely and informative, we made a plan for the future to step back on some probably now unneeded meds, and it was clear the dr was knowledgeable about my son's history and she still took time to talk with me about his situation and any concerns. I didnt feel rushed or unheard. I was worried when we lost our previous provider, but my fears have been settled and I'm very pleased to be with Dr G now, she did a great job making us feel comfortable with the transition.

Dr. G was absolutely phenomenal. I have worried about my daughter's condition being managed at TGH/USF because the primary clinic we were referred to is never available, changes providers often, etc. Continuity of care and access to providers who are familiar with her treatment and conditions Is very Importsnt. Dr. G Is the first experience we have had where I felt like we had an engaged provider and would have access to consistent care.

The care provider made sure that we had everything we needed to deal with his problem. She seemed shocked that it hadn't been dealt with previously. I told her we normally take him to urgent care because I didn't have the equipment at home, and the ER at least once a year. She made sure that we left with it.
