Dr. Marisa Couluris has been providing personalized care for patients from birth to 21 years old with pulmonary symptoms and conditions for over 15 years. This includes a multidisciplinary approach to caring for patients both in a clinic setting, after hours and in the hospital. Dr. Couluris also provides state of the art care due to the research that she participates in at USF and with other researchers across the country. Her areas of research include but are not limited to asthma, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, osteogenesis imperfecta and neuromuscular diseases such as muscular dystrophy.

Dr. Couluris did an excellent job at understanding and explaining throughout the visit. She made me feel heard and understood, while also providing superb explanations of my current condition and what to expect in the future. She has also been tremendously helpful in providing referrals and recommendations of who to see next at TGH and USF to continue treating and understanding my condition. The world would be a much better place if more doctors were like Dr. Couluris.

Dr. Marisa Couluris is an amazing pediatric pulmonologist. She actually takes the time to listen carefully to the patient to best help them. I can honetly say that she exceeds expectations and truly cares about the well being of her patients. I would recommend her to any parent looking for a pulm provider!
