Maggie Jordan, MD, is a board-eligible general surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery. Her clinical interests include trauma and acute care surgery, and she is especially passionate about improving access to surgical care in rural and underserved communities. Dr. Jordan completed her general surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.She earned her Doctor of Medicine from East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from North Carolina State University, where she also minored in biotechnology.

She is certified in the fundamentals of laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery, and is fluent in Spanish. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Women Surgeons, where she remains active in mentorship and professional development.

Dr. Jordan approaches her work with a calm, attentive presence and values building trust with her patients. She strives to ensure every person feels heard and supported throughout their surgical care.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, fishing, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends, and has volunteered with Camp Rainbow and Camp Hope programs supporting children with sickle cell disease and cancer.
