Mebrahtom Tesfai, M.D.

Dr. Mebrahtom Tesfai was born and raised in Eritrea and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Gondar College of Medical Sciences. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. With over 15 years of experience as a hospitalist, Dr. Tesfai has been a dedicated member of the medical team at MUSC Lancaster Medical Center for more than six years. He is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and brings a wealth of knowledge in both acute inpatient and geriatric medicine.
