Born and raised in Maine, I first pursued an education in exercise physiology before being called to midwifery. I earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and hold board certification in both nurse-midwifery and family practice. As a nurse-midwife, my job is to provide every woman with current and evidence-based guidance that is free of judgment so that she may make the reproductive healthcare decisions that she knows are best for her and her family. I joined USF Health in late 2013 because it offers an exceptional range of resources and options for women as they face these often difficult choices throughout their lives. I am proud to be part of the Tampa Bay community and serve its women, their partners, and their babies.

Nathan is an incredibly skilled provider. He displayed a unique ability to listen to my concerns and provide clear, evidence based guidance, while looking at the entire picture and explaining each aspect for me in "non medical" terms. With my physical exam he was extremely respectful and made me feel comfortable as he explained what was happening throughout the process. I am grateful to have found such a caring and competent provider!

I loved Nathan, he had great bedside manner and discussed future possibilities for resolving the issue I had instead of just focusing on the explicit question I asked. I felt like he listened to me and offered helpful information, comments, and advice. I felt that he was present with me and my issue and that he truly cared that I walked away feeling like my concern was resolved or could be resolved if additional treatment was needed.

Nathan was one of the best practioners I've ever seen. He was so incredibly kind, caring, and thorough. He listened to me thoroughly and thoughtfully before explaining options to me. Options he explained so thoroughly on the process and the risks/benefits. Fantastic!

Nathan is wonderful. I never leave without fully understanding everything going on with my health. He's gentle, honest, very vocal about each step he is doing while performing testing so you aren't left to wonder what is going on each touch or move he makes. 10/10 experience every time.

Dr. Guerrette was amazing. Before getting into the purpose of my visit, he took the time to ask some personal questions, making me feel at ease and valued as a patient. He was such a good listener and explained my lab results and necessary care moving forward. I'm so happy that I found him as a gyn!

Dr Guerette was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. I felt like he listened to genuinely understand who I was, where I am in my journey, and came up with a game plan alongside me to get me to my goals and where I want to be. He made sure I was comfortable and at ease with all testing and kept me updated with what he was doing along the way.

Nate, NP was wonderful. He wasn't supposed to meet with us but the ultrasound showed we needed him. He did great at showing care, understanding, compassion and clearly explained our next step and options.
