Paul Huang, MD, is a pulmonologist and intensivist with double board certification in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. He provides both inpatient and outpatient care with a special interest in asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, obstructive sleep apnea, sepsis and palliative care medicine.


Dr. Huang completed his medical training at Chicago Medical School and Georgetown University, followed by pulmonary and critical care training at University of California, Irvine. He has enjoyed working at San Jose Medical Group for 10 years and speaks both English and Mandarin.

Dr. HUANG is one of the most professional Dr.s I have interacted with. He remembers details, explains everything, asks all pertinent questions and listens. I never feel rushed. Very consistent with most interactions with El Camino Dr.s who I find are all this way. I feel very lucky to be with El Camino

My first visit to an appointment with Dr. Huang. Dr Paul Huang listened with attentive care on my illness symptoms for the entire duration of the visit.

Dr. Huang spent a lot of time with me. I was very pleased at all of the questions he asked me. He was so thorough. I was extremely impressed with him. I would recommend him to anybody. Such a nice and pleasant man and made me feel like he went over everything and all of my medications.

Dr Paul Huang is an excellent doctor. He carefully diagnosed my lung cancer each step of the process and referred an oncologist very quickly that led to an expeditious lobotomy surgery followed by chemo therapy to be followed by immuno therapy. My entire care team demonstrate how well coordinated and connected el camino doctors are in taking care of a patient. I am very thankful to all the staff and the El Camino Hospital for the great service and experience that I am receiving for my health care.

Mostly praise for Dr. Huang. He saw me for the first time and he came prepared. He asked questions and listened attentively. Answered my questions. I only regret not having more time to summarize the visit at the end - he evidently had to run.

Dr. Huong was very thorough. He asked pertinent questions and listened taking notes by hand and went over my cpap data. He also informed me about my condition and gave me ideas for my future with my sleep apnea condition. Great bedside manner!
