I am thrilled to help your child with modern medical imaging technology. Your child's doctor will order x-ray, ultrasound, CT, or MRI imaging and I look at and interpret what the images mean and write a diagnostic report for you and your doctor. The goal is to get an answer or diagnosis about what the problem is and how to solve it. I work closely with pediatricians and pediatric specialists throughout MUSC with daily and weekly conferences in making a diagnosis and monitoring treatment. I also perform various minimal-invasive procedures including biopsies of lesions and injections of inflamed joints with steroids.I am a father of two and love to bike to work and surf, and my wife is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at MUSC.
