He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1981, followed by a general surgery residency at Tulane University and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Since 1987, Dr. Morrison has been a dedicated member of the Columbia medical community, serving as a founding member of ColoRectal Associates and holding a clinical professorship at the University of South Carolina's Department of Surgery.
