Abdallah Kamouh, M.D.

Dr. Abdallah Kamouh is an interventional cardiologist, specializing in catheter-based cardiology procedures for coronary artery and peripheral artery diseases. As the Chief of Cardiology, Dr. Kamouh is involved in advancing the Cardiology department by adding new services, new procedures, new technologies and recruiting new cardiologists to the area. Dr. Kamouh is a native of Lebanon. He received his medical degree from Lebanese University, in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his residency at the American University of Beirut and Case Western University Hospitals, in Cleveland, OH. He completed a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Buffalo Medical Center. He then received additional training in advanced heart failure and transplantation at the University of Minnesota, and in interventional cardiology at Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA.Dr. Kamouh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography and Interventional Cardiology. He is an assistant Professor of Medicine at MUSC.
