Dr. Shah, Led me to where I am now. My heart has regenerated greatly and my whole family is thankful for that. If I have any negative experiences with the team in general it's usually due to my anxiety over my condition. I also have a lot of stress from trying to understand the complexities of treatment. However, Dr. Shah offered a lot of resources for me to consider. Also he made a point to ask if I had any questions, during the different stages of the visit.
Dr. Shah is a wonderful, kind man who spent quality time with me.
Not only was Dr Shah patient about letting me explain my concerns & fears but acknowledged them. Then he immediately started to see what He could do to improve the situation. (I was not used to this type of treatment) He reviewed my medical records, spotted medications that I had been on for years that were not the best for my conditions and changed them and explained WHY he did so. It's hard to express what this visit meant.
The Dr. Is very knowledgeable, patient&kindhe appears to be very concerned about my health&medical needs, both past&present. His Dr./patient personality makes me feel very comfortable during my appointments.

Dr Shah was wonderful. He asked about my family, my health, my prior treatment from all Dr's. He was very thorough and caring. He spent time explaining new treatments, the effects of the new treatments, and gave me the information I needed to help manage my health.

Dr. Shah is the very best. I travelled from the East Coast just to see him and was not disappointed. I am happy to see he is happy at Tampa General and I am very glad that he could take me n as a new patient to continue my care going forward.

Dr. Shah is very friendly and seems genuinely concerned about his patients. He consistently makes every effort to explain things and answer questions in a way that I can understand. Also he does not rush the visit. This leads me to believe he truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Shah was the first doctor who listened to my concerns and than acted on them.
Again, I did have to wait for the doctors. I am impressed by their detailed options, took as much time as needed to ensure you understood exactly what they were explaining.Because they take all the time needed for each patient, I would wait as long as needed for them!!!
I've been a transplant since 2013,receiving my heart in 2017 and am forever grateful to my doctors and nurses and staff.
