650-962-4690Benjamin Wu, MD, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist with an interest in coronary interventions and preventive cardiology. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, he decided he needed to stay in school longer and received his medical degree and PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from St. Louis University.
He completed his internal medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota where he saw snow for the first time in his life. He promptly returned to California where he finished his cardiology fellowship at Stanford.
Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, trail running, mountain biking and wandering in far-off lands.

I appreciate Dr. Wu. He took the time to talk about my condition, especially in light of some surgery I just had. And explained things to me in light of the work. I had already done to understand my own condition. He was respectful the entire time, and he seemed to be willing to take as much time as I needed. I find Dr. Wu to be incredibly diligent and thoughtful and thorough, he's about all you can ask for a doctor.
