He was employed through the Veterans Administration at the University of Pennsylvania as a hospitalist in the medical intensive care unit prior to fellowship. He completed his fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in 2013. He served as a hematologist and medical oncologist in Queens, NY for 10 years prior to joining the Medical University of South Carolina.
