Deepak Joshi, M.D.

Dr. Deepak Joshi is a dedicated and highly skilled cardiologist currently serving at MUSC Health - Cardiology - Lancaster. He brings extensive expertise in general noninvasive cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging techniques. Dr. Joshi has received specialized training in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), including perioperative TEE and 3D Echocardiography, and holds board certification in cardiac CT.

His professional skill set is extensive, encompassing Level 2 comprehensive Echocardiography, Level 2 Nuclear Cardiology, Level 2 Cardiac Catheterization, and Level 2 Cardiac CT. Dr. Joshi is board-certified in general cardiology, comprehensive echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT.

His prior experience includes a general cardiology role with the Medical Group of Carolinas at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in South Carolina and serving as a hospitalist at Elyria Memorial Hospital in Elyria, OH. His initial medical career began as a Medical Officer at Patan Hospital in Nepal, where he also completed his rotating internship.

Dr. Joshi's educational background is impressive. He completed his General Cardiology Fellowship at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and an Echocardiography Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also served as an instructor. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, and earned his M.B.B.S. from the College of Medical Sciences at Kathmandu University in Nepal. He holds medical licenses in both South Carolina and North Carolina.
