Harris Hartwell Parker III, M.D.

Harris "Hart" Parker, III, M.D., is a highly skilled general surgeon with extensive training and clinical experience. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Dr. Parker completed both undergraduate studies and medical school before pursuing an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery since 2005, Dr. Parker has dedicated over 20 years to providing surgical care in Columbia, South Carolina.





Throughout his career, he has earned recognition for his teaching and academic excellence, receiving multiple Outstanding General Surgery Resident Teaching Awards and accolades such as the Surgery Medal for Outstanding Academic and Clinical Performance. He is an active member of professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Advanced Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery, and has served as a Cancer Liaison Physician on the Midlands Integrated Network Cancer Committee.
