Ioannis Karampelas, M.D., FAANS

Dr. Ioannis Karampelas immigrated to the U.S. from Europe years ago and is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.





He is thankful for his mentors, who have profoundly shaped his professional and human nature. Dr. Karampelas is excited to give back to the people and to the community. In addition to general neurosurgery, he has a particular interest in brain and spinal cord tumors.





Dr. Karampelas' approach is straightforward, saying, "I know how complex and frightening any neurological disease can be. I am here to help you understand what is going on in your body.
