Jamie Scott Falkowitz, D.O.

Dr. Jamie Scott Falkowitz is a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician with extensive experience in high-acuity medical environments, characterized by his adeptness in patient care, clinical leadership, and educational initiatives. Dr. Falkowitz's career spans various roles in both clinical practice and medical administration, showcasing versatility and commitment to excellence in emergency medicine.

As an Emergency Physician and Nocturnist, Dr. Falkowitz serves the populations of Lancaster and Chester, SC. He is decisive in applying training, prioritizing care and implementing measures. He brings a record of success in leading care for patients with injuries and serious illnesses. His contributions include implementing innovative programs such as the I-PASS initiative to optimize patient admissions and enhance safety during care transfer.





Prior to his current role, Dr. Falkowitz held positions at prominent medical facilities such as Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC, and Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. His tenure at these institutions involved providing high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations, including those with critical care and trauma needs. Dr. Falkowitz also served as Medical Director at Gaston County Emergency Medical Services in Gaston, NC, and as an Emergency Medical Technician at North Shore University Hospital Emergency Medical Services.





Dr. Falkowitz earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine after completing his pre-medical requirements at SUNY Stony Brook. He pursued residency training in Emergency Medicine at North Shore University Hospital and holds certifications from the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Falkowitz is licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina and North Carolina and maintains certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP.
