Julie Thomas, MSPAS, PA-C, is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program at the Medical University of South Carolina, completing her studies in 2005.
With 19 years of clinical experience, Julie has worked in a variety of specialties, including surgical subspecialties, occupational medicine, urgent care, and emergency medicine. She has also contributed to the education of future Physician Assistants by teaching PA students.
Julie was honored with the GAPA Dylan Maples Memorial Scholarship Award and was named MUSC Health's Outstanding Provider in 2021 at the Kershaw location. Outside of her professional work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and engaging in outdoor activities.
