Dr. Khawaja grew up in Charleston and completed her medical school education and pediatric residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She is proud to care for children and families in the community she calls home.
Her clinical interests include newborn and infant care, lactation support, and the prevention and management of childhood obesity. She takes a lifestyle medicine-based approach to pediatrics, emphasizing healthy nutrition, movement, sleep, and sustainable habits that promote lifelong wellness.
