Dr. Powell received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Microbiology. She earned her medical degree from MUSC, then completed her residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University where she served as an administrative chief resident and received the AAGL award for excellence in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Powell provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecologic services with special interests in contraception, obstetrics, vaginal birth after cesarean and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
