Excellent experience. Shannon Hahn is very professional and knowledgeable about my type of diabetes. She explained things in an easy to understand manner. She encouraged me to attend an advanced Omnipod class, which will make a big difference in my glucose control. She also made sure that I knew how to reach her via phone, if there was ever an emergency. I never knew about that, and iGod forbid, I'd ever have to use it. No other doctor I have been to at TGH had shown such practical advice with me. I feel fortunate to have her as my diabetes APRN.

My overall experience with Shannon was amazing. She drew graphs to help me understand what is going on with my thyroid and the best way to treat my symptoms while pregnant. She is very personable and caring. I didn't feel like I was just a number. I felt like she genuinely cared about how I was feeling and made me have a clear understanding of what my body is going through. 10/10

I have found Shannon Bauer to be very patient focused. She listens and asks follow up questions, she is encouraging, she talks through the medicines and the reason for taking them and possible side effects. She goes over test results in a way that is understandable. She has a very pleasant bedside manner

PA Bauer is the best. Although, I greatly appreciate all of the medical providers I have seen at USF Diabetes Clinic - they are attentive and willing to support T1D patients. I feel like this is a tough life having to live with T1D, but they understand and really work to help us and not let me up when there is a slack-off day.

Shannon went in depth with my mum about her test results as she's a newer patient. She explained everything well and at a level that was understandable. She's very considerate, compassionate, and considerate.

Shannon has been a great medical provider since our first appointment with her as a new USF Health practitioner. She's approachable, listens to concerns, explains test results well and why she's using certain medications for his diabetes. She does a good overview of his health and goes more in-depth when we meet with her.

I love, love, love PA Bauer. She is amazing. I also appreciate that she understands what I am going through as a person living with T1D, an insulin pump, managing life, work, a family, and all the other stressors that accompany life. She does not talk about her life, but she does display empathy - which seems genuine. I also appreciate the fact she talks to you and not at you. You are included in the process and she seems to really care.
