Thomas W. Faust, M.D., M.B.E. has served as Professor of Medicine and Surgery in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology. Dr. Faust has been practicing for over 35 years. He received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University, M.D. from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, and Masters in Bioethics from The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Faust completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, fellowship in gastroenterology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and transplant hepatology fellowship at The University of Nebraska. Over the past 35 years of practicing hepatology and transplant hepatology, Dr. Faust has been fortunate to practice in a variety of academic institutions across the country. He served on the faculties of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, The University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, The Medical College of Wisconsin, Georgetown University School of Medicine, The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, and most recently, The University of South Carolina School of Medicine. His roles included assessment of general hepatology patients and patients undergoing liver transplant evaluations. Moreover, as a transplant hepatologist, Dr. Faust worked closely with transplant surgeons, coordinators, pharmacists, nutritionists, social workers, and advanced practice providers in the pre-, peri, and postoperative management of patients undergoing liver transplantation. At all institutions, he participated in outpatient general hepatology, transplant evaluation, and post-transplant clinics. Moreover, Dr. Faust was an active member of very busy inpatient hepatology services at all institutions described above. At all institutions, Dr. Faust coordinated didactic with clinic activities for medical students, internal medicine and surgery residents, gastroenterology fellows, and transplant hepatology fellows.

Dr. Prince Mohan Anand, M.D., FACP, is a distinguished physician specializing in transplant nephrology, currently serving as the Director of Transplant services and Program Medical Director at the MUSC Health Transplant Program in Mid-Carolinas. With an illustrious career spanning over a decades, Dr. Anand brings extensive expertise and leadership to his role in advancing transplant medicine. Dr. Anand obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of Pleven, Bulgaria, where he demonstrated exceptional academic prowess and a passion for medical research. He further honed his skills through postdoctoral training, including Internal Medicine and Chief residency at Nephrology Fellowship at New York Hospital Queens, Cornell University. He finish his general Nephrology and Renal/Pancreas Transplant Fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center in NY. Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Anand holds licensure in the State of South Carolina, where he has dedicated himself to providing exemplary patient care. Throughout his career, he has garnered recognition for his outstanding contributions, including multiple scientific papers and fellowship inductions into esteemed organizations such as the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation. . Dr. Anand is actively involved in professional organizations and societies, including the American Society of Transplant, the American Society of Nephrology, and the American College of Physicians, where he continues to contribute his expertise to advancing medical science and patient care. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Anand is committed to education and mentorship, serving as an instructor and lecturer at renowned medical institutions. He has organized and directed numerous conferences and symposiums, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in the field of transplant medicine. His research interest is in transplant public policy, organ discard and long term care of kidney transplant patients. Ahmed Daoud MD. PhD. is an assistant professor of medicine, specialized in transplant nephrology, at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He received his medical and PhD degrees from Cairo University School of Medicine. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Houston Methodist Hospital, general nephrology fellow at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), and transplant nephrology fellow at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He presented his research in national and international conferences and published in reputable journals such as CJASN and Renal Failure.

Dr. Zeeshan Azeem is a highly skilled and dedicated medical professional with a comprehensive nephrology and internal medicine background. He completed his Transplant Nephrology Fellowship at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before this, he pursued a Nephrology Fellowship at MU Healthcare, University of Missouri. With a solid foundation in internal medicine, Dr. Azeem embarked on his medical journey at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, where he completed his internal medicine residency and internships at prestigious institutions such as Services Hospital and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Dr. Azeem has held various positions throughout his career, including Nephrology - Transplant Nephrology Physician at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, further enriching his clinical expertise. Dr. Azeem's academic achievements include obtaining certifications from esteemed institutions such as the Fellowship College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in the UK( I-II), and ECFMG certification. He is also actively involved in research, contributing to projects focusing on kidney transplantation outcomes and renal care protocols. He also contributed two book chapters on "Plasmapheresis" and "Renal replacement therapy" in a book on Neurocritical care protocols recently published by Springer group. Recognized for his excellence in medical practice, Dr. Azeem has received numerous awards, including the Best Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at King Edward Medical University and merit scholarships during his academic tenure. He is a member of prestigious medical societies such as the American Society of Nephrology( ASN) and American Society of Transplantation( AST). Beyond medicine, Dr. Azeem is proficient in various languages and possesses diverse interests, including traveling, reading, calligraphy, learning about space and sports such as cricket and table tennis.
