Jennifer Small is a Family Nurse Practitioner with MUSC Health Primary Care and board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Jennifer has a passion for providing holistic care using evidence-based practice including education on health promotion and disease management strategies. Jennifer's approach to quality care consists of transparency and creating an individualized treatment plan encompassing goals of care, quality of life, and shared decision-making.
Clinical interests include Holistic care, Advanced research, Diet and Nutrition, Health Promotion and Wellness, Adult-Gerontology, Chronic disease management, and Mental Health.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2020 and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023 with Chamberlain University. Jennifer obtained her practicum experience with MUSC Health Primary Care Great Falls, Indian Land, and Lancaster.
With nearly 14 years of nursing experience, Jennifer transitioned into the primary care settings after serving many years of hospital bedside nursing and outpatient wound care treatments. Previously obtaining a special skill set in long-term care, acute and subacute rehabilitation, case management and advanced wound care, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Jennifer is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Phi Pi Chapter.
