Curtis Worthington, M.D.

Dr. Curtis Worthington is board certified in Neurological Surgery and has been in Neurosurgical practice for over 30 years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Worthington has special interest in degenerative spine disease and in Neuro-oncology (brain tumors). His experience in the field of Stereotactic Radiosurgery is certainly the most extensive in the state of South Carolina. He was a founding member of the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society. He has received various awards and citations and has many peer-reviewed publications to his name. Past academic appointments have included Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiation Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has lectured around the world including in India and South Africa and in 2024 will serve in a mission hospital in Kenya.
